Moving to a new city and state means making changes. Some changes are harder than others. I have made many moves at the behest of my career and I know what matters. It's not the lawn guy, it's not the dentist, it's not even the gynecologist that's the hardest to replace! It's the person who cuts your hair! I moved to Savannah 5 plus years ago during the pandemic leaving a trusted hairdresser behind in NJ. After a year and a half of my beloved husband cutting my hair (and risking divorce each time) I realized it was time to find a professional. I found a wonderful one at a luxury salon downtown. She uncovered curls I hadn't seen since I was 6 years old. But it came at a cost of over $80 per visit before tip. She left that salon and moved to another where the price was $100 per visit. I don't have enough hair to justify that amount of money. What was just as bad was that none of the other customers were older than my youngest child who was 32. I think I may have dampened the ambiance of the salon by my presence. The beloved spouse, seeking to avoid being forced into haircut duty again, suggested I try Great Cuts. He went there and he liked it. Oh well, hair grows back, so I gave it a try. My husband said he liked Renee so I asked Renee to cut my hair. Oh my goodness! Renee gave me a wash and wear crown of loose curls I never thought I'd have again. Renee performs her magic on me every 6 weeks and I have yet to be dissatisfied. People ask me all the time who cuts my hair and they can't believe I get it cut at Great Cuts. Go there. Ask for Renee. She doesn't work Mondays and Tuesdays. She's worth it.
